R Madhavan: Saala Khadoos Has Made Me Respect Women More
Here's the latest update from the world of Bollywood. We bet you wouldn't want to miss this. Read on for details... Now, that's really nice
R Madhavan, who has carved a niche for himself in Bollywood with films like Rang De Basanti, 3 Idiots and the Tanu Weds Manu franchise, is all set for the release of his next, Saala Khadoos.
Says he, "I am very excited about the film; it has generated immense buzz online. However, I feel belittled when I open my Twitter account, as there are people with 20 million followers and I have just crossed a million till now."
About his different look in the film, he explains, "My respect for women has grown after this experience. For a guy, taking a shower is a five-minute thing, but for women with long hair, it is not. Also, once they step out of the shower, men need about 10 minutes to get ready. But for women, it is the beginning of another battle with the hair dryer. As guys, we don't think about all these things."
So, what are his Diwali plans? "Like every year, I am going to celebrate with my family. That's the only time I can sit back and see their faces properly. Otherwise, we don't get enough time to spend with our families. Like a proper Madrasi, I also do the pooja," concludes Maddy.
